WEB RT - The requested URL could not be retrieved

#1

Hi,

I try to install RT 1.3.59 but have problem with HTML::Mason (I’m already
running RT 1.0.7 w/o any problem). I can’t make it to work. I have added

<VirtualHost 62.168.31.225 pinknt04.pink>
ServerName rt-new.mokry.cz
DocumentRoot /home/data/app/rt-new/WebRT/html
ServerAdmin root@localhost
ErrorLog logs/rt-new/error_log
CustomLog logs/rt-new/access_log combined
PerlRequire /home/data/app/rt-new/bin/webmux.pl

SetHandler perl-script
PerlHandler RT::Mason

section to my apache conf (1.3.14 fro RH 7.0).

When I try to access http://rt-new.mokry.cz I get this error:
ERROR
The requested URL could not be retrieved
While trying to retrieve the URL: [no URL]
The following error was encountered:

  • Zero Sized Reply
    Squid did not receive any data for this request.
    Your cache administrator is root.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks,
Ludek.

mod_perl and mod_php are known to interact poorly.
running on a different port could work.
also chown -R /home/data/app/rt-new/WebRT/data will make your
other problem go away.On Wed, Mar 21, 2001 at 06:49:33PM +0100, Ludek Mokry wrote:

Maybe I found a problem. If I remove HAVE_PHP4 from apache, I get a "better"
error from mason (permission problem - see below). Does It mean that I can’t
have HTML:Mason together with PHP4 in apache ? if so, I will run a special
RT server on another port. Just let me know.
System error
while serving rt-new.mokry.cz /index.html
mkdir /home/data/app/rt-new/WebRT/data/obj: Permission denied at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.0/HTML/Mason/Parser.pm line 1129

what if you strace apache running in -X mode?

Nothing! Can’t understand why. I’m running several virt. servers on my
intranet w/o any problem. Even web_rt 1.0.7 is running correctly. There
is
something wrong in HTML::Mason, but during installation all mason test
was
ok.

So if I try to connect to rt-new.mokry.cz/anything (anything even
doesn’t

have to be there), apache doesn’t communicate. If I remove perlhandler
rt:mason from httpd.conf, server is running but perlhtml is not
processed.

apache permission is set in this way:

<Directory “/home/data/app/rt-new/WebRT/html/”>
Options Indexes Includes FollowSymLinks ExecCGI
AllowOverride All
order deny,allow
deny from all
allow from 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0 62.168.31.224/255.255.255.252

AuthUserFile /home/data/httpd/conf/htpasswd.users
