User Permissions

Hi,

Is there anyway of configuring RT so that users, of a particular group, that
login can only see tickets they have created?

Extending to this … is it possible for a particular user to only see
tickets created by users of his group?

I’ve been playing with the group permission and user permission but have
been unsuccessful in geting this right.

Well I have an unanswered permissions question but I will try
to answer yours. I am assuming your are using RT3.

If all the tickets are in the same queue, make all members of
the group AdminCC watchers for that queue.

I would say to make the group itself an AdminCC watcher but
currently that is not working for me.

Have you read the FAQ? The RT FAQ Manager lives at http://fsck.com/rtfm

Go to Configuration → Queues → some_queue → Group Rights

Then remove rights from everyone and assign rights to the group which should
have permissions on that queue.

In particular you probably want:
CommentOnTicket
CreateTicket
ModifyTicket
OwnTicket
ReplyToTicket
SeeQueue
ShowTicket
ShowTicketComments

If you want to assign rights to particular users instead of to groups, do
