User Password changes


For a whole load of reasons, including Murphy’s law that users, given
access rights will play and probably break things, we run RT in a ‘Black
Box’ style mode, with only two people who have the ability to update
user profiles, add or modify scripts, groups, users etc.

One common RFE request we get is so that users can update their own
passwords. Is there a way to grant just this right to the userbase,
without giving them a load of other access rights?



On a similar note, I’d like a way to give some consultants
the ability to update the phone, organization, comments,
about a user, without giving them the ability to update
the name or email or password.
