Truncate display of Custom Field in Query

To list,

I want to run a Query in RT and I want to truncate the value in one of the
Custom Fields I’m displaying and don’t know how to do that.

Does anyone have a way to do that?

Hi.

You have to add a new ColumnMap that truncates CF values. There is no such
out of the box in RT.

Thanks. I was looking for an easier way (cause I’m lazy??). Well, It
shouldn’t be too hard.
