Starting rt

I didn’t get a readme with RT. How do I start it up?
do I have to start it up with mysql?

Greetings.

I think I finally installed rt however, I am not sure on how to start
it…i just tried executing rt_install/bin/rt and get error msgs…

I also tried starting rt_installation/bin/rtadmin and get another set or
errors…perhaps i am starting it incorrectly…?

apache web server IS up and online…

any suggestions…? exactly how do i start rt…?

So you know, you’re messing with the pre-beta version of rt2.
The error message below tells you that you set up your config file wrong.
(you missed a \ before the @ sign in one of the email addresses you listed.)

RT doesn’t actually have a daemon that runs…the tools should work properly
if the install is done correctly.
