Some info about the statistics package

I’ve noticed a few people with graphing problems in the stats package
posting recently. I pretty much haven’t touched anything in over a
year, but have just picked it up again. I’m getting ready for a 0.1.6
release which would just be some minor cleanup (specifically it wouldn’t
need to override any files that exist in the stock RT release, so it’s
more upgrade friendly).

In the course of getting ready for this, I’ve tested the as yet not
available 0.1.6 build (sorry) with the following list of components.
0.1.5 should work with the same list, but I haven’t had a chance to test
it.

Fedora Core 4, GD-2.28, GD::Graph-1.43, and libgd 2.0.33.

If you’re having problems, and suspect GD::Graph, below is the link to
GD::Graph in CPAN, if you look in the README file (link also below) it
tells you how to test it by using the samples that are included with the
GD::Graph package. If those samples don’t work, then the graphs in
Statistics aren’t going to work either.

Hopefully this helps those of you having trouble with the graphics in
the Statistics package.
