I am noticing some weird errors during the last 3 days pop up in the root
mailbox on my Linux box. Did rt recently change the To: address it uses.
Here’s what shows up:

Eric,
There is a new section in config.pm as of version 1.3.70
RT can optionally set a “Friendly” ‘To:’ header when sending messages
to
Ccs or AdminCcs (rather than having a blank ‘To:’ header.
This feature DOES NOT WORK WITH SENDMAIL[tm] BRAND SENDMAIL
If you are using sendmail, rather than postfix, qmail, exim or some
other MTA,
you must disable this option.
$UseFriendlyToLine = 0;
I think this will fix your problem.

Isuspect htat what happened is that scrips finally started working again.

I wonder about that. What counts as ‘running’? I think I have the
same problem. (Described earlier.)
But I’m running Exim on the RT2 server and sendmail on the “incomming”
MX server.
What is that ‘:;’ thing in ‘Owner of WorldNow Ticket #197’:; anyway?

It’s pseudo-mailinglist syntax, so your MTA knows not to interpret it
as an actual address, but only as a comment.
