Sending Attachments with RT to correspondent

I’ve successfully managed to send attachments to my email web email with Pine
via SendMail, however when I attach a file when replying to a ticket in RT,
the file does not get sent with the email.

RT will receive submitted emails with attachments via SendMail, and RT will
successfully store the attachment that was suppose to be sent so other users
have access to the file, then why does it not send the attachment but what
why.

What could be wrong?

Well, the only thing wrong is that you don’t like how RT handles
attachments. :slight_smile: What you describe is the way it’s supposed to work.
It’s a problem in the situation you describe, but it’s really nice
when someone sends in a 50MB logfile and it isn’t sent to all the
queue’s watchers. :slight_smile:

There’s a contrib that passes attachments through; it was discussed on
rt-users relatively recently, so poke at the archives.
