SearchBuilder

Hello,

I apologize if this question has been asked before… I searched
quite a bit before posting…

Version: Rt 2.0.4
OS: FreeBSD 4.3
Perl: 5.6.1
DBIx, DBI, DBD::Pg etc… are all installed.
SearchBuilder as well.

This is the error I get when running ‘rtadmin --user “brian” --create’

Couldn’t load from the users database.
Can’t call method “fetchrow” on an undefined value at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.6.1/DBIx/SearchBuilder/Handle.pm line
352.

Permissions aren’t a problem with PostgreSQL… as far as connecting.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Brian

Hi,

I tried to compile rt (version rt-2-0-15) but it is giving problem for
DBIx-SearchBuilder module, I have installed DBIx-SearchBuilder 0.73 using
CPAN shell, however the make testdeps tries to find only version 0.48.

Is there anyway I can fix this problem? I presume using version 0.73 should
be better than 0.48 but the dependency does not allow me to go further.

Thanks in advance for suggestions.

Testdeps looks for “at least” version 0.48, not “exactly”.

Hi Jesse,

Like a few others, I am getting the "RT::Attribute::Name Unimplemented"
error. What version of SearchBuilder is safe to run on RT 3.4.4? From
the messages I’ve seen it is not clear. Also, what else needs to be
upgraded?

Take care!

When I got this problem, Jesse suggested that I upgrade to the latest

Hi Ahalya,

Thank you for writing. So, all you did was just upgrade SearchBuilder
and nothing else? I know it sounds like a strange question, but you
