Sounds like you’ve installed the Statistics module. It breaks a line of
code in 3.4.2 regarding the search builder interface.
Follow the instructions from the link below to resolve…

You should probably check through the “Configuration” - “Global” - group
rights and or user rights. You may have to define privileges for the
root user to do searches.
What error do you get if you login as root and try to search?

The error, is that the web page is not display well and there’s the sand glass of the side of the mouse pointer and the only way to resolve is to restart “httpd”.
There’s an error message:
“/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.3/i386-linux-thread-multi/auto/GD/GD.so: undefined symbol: gdFontGetLarge”----- Original Message -----

You need to remove all of the GD perl modules and recompile them to use
the right gd libraries. Remove the ones installed via rpm and install
them from source. On 4 different machines, I could never get the
RT3Statistics package to work with the rpm gd libraries.
