RT without virtual host configuration

Hi,

is it possible to use RT without using a virtual host configuration
within Apache as described in the manual???

I would prefer an old-fashioned configuration as we have used with RT
1.0.7…

My set up doesn’t use a virtual host. I just run a private instance
of apache with RT on an alternate port.
