RT User Inferface

Is there a user interface for requestors to somehow see their ticket
status? Ideally, a requestor can only see the mail correspondence but
not any comments. Thanks!

Have you tried going to the RT web interface as one of those users? What
you’ve described is the default functionality of the web interface for
unprivileged users.
