When I sent mail to my alias for rt I get the following back:
------ pipe to |/opt/rt2/bin/rt-mailgate --queue ‘Hosting Group’
–action correspond
generated by hosting-request@adress.com
(ultimately generated from adminsys@address.com) ------
Can’t do setuid
What could be causing this?

Great, I’m having an isue with mysql now. I had to change the location
of the mysql sock files. How do I change where rt looks for the sock
file?
DBI->connect(dbname=rt2;host=localhost;port=3306) failed: Can’t connect
to local MySQL server through socket ‘/tmp/mysql.sock’ (2) at
/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/DBIx/SearchBuilder/Handle.pm line 132
I moved it to /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock

I submitted a patch to RT3 to make the location of the socket configurable but it was silently rejected. I put in a symbolic link from /tmp and it works OK. RT2 should be the same.

You can define this in /etc/my.cnf and DBI handle it OK.
Ruslan.
