Hi All,
I’m fairly happy with the Self Service page. However I would like to add
the following functionality to it through code customizations:
Service page
Could someone guide me through which pages I need to modify for this and the
approach I should take?
I just need RT users to raise their own tickets, update their own tickets
and report only on their own tickets. Eventually I would also like to add a
FAQ page to the Self Service page.
Regards,
Andre

You’re aware of the Scrip that reopens tickets on Replies?
Also, you’d have to overlay and hack SelfService’s Update.html for
this

Thanks for the response.
Are you able to elaborate more on what I would need to change though?
Would it be easier if I modified the main RT page (index.html) instead? If
so, I would like to remove the “Tools”, “Configuration”, “Preferences” and
“Approval” links for a particular user. Can you let me know what would be
involved in this task?
Thank you,
