Hi everyone,
Like many of you, I suspect, many of the requests our organization’s RT
system receives are associated with a particular computer or other piece of
equipment. We have a separate home-grown inventory database wherein we
assign a unique number to each piece of equipment and enter relevant
information about the item.
We’ve created a custom field in RT to associate a ticket with a particular
piece of hardware, but I think it would be handy to be able to view the
equipment details from within RT rather than doing a separate lookup in the
inventory database.
I found Asset Tracker (http://asset-tracker.sourceforge.net/), but it seems
to be designed for RT2.
Does anyone know of an inventory/asset tracking package that works with RT3?
