Hello,
I’m testing the externalization of attachments on a local disk on a test RT 4.4.1 machine.
Though I’ve defined ExternalStorageCutoffSize to 15728640 in the RT_SiteConfig file, and restarted the server, small attachments such as 34,9 kib are externalized (ContentEncoding = external).
I thought only the ones larger than 15 MiB would be externalized.
What do I do wrong ?
Thanks for your help,
Elisabeth
Note that the documentation (first sentence of $ExternalStorageCutoffSize) states:
Certain object types, like values for Binary (aka file upload) custom fields, are always put into external storage.
Thank you Ulf for your answer. My english is probably too weak, I missed that.
I suppose that if I want to filter big files this is some kind of development.
Elisabeth
