Has anyone come across a comprehensive “Test Plan/Scripts” covering all out of the box functionality for a deployment? If so, can you point me to it or share? I understand that testing will differ based on configuration, but core functionality applies to all installations. I’m looking to save time by not creating one from scratch.

It’s a grate idea @JC_CW. Sharing test will save us time. I’m just starting in the RPA world and whenever I can I’ll do some testing with UI.Vision or similar (hope on summertime).
I don’t know if this kind of tools allow sharing scripts/configuration. It’s an option I’ll check too.

I don’t have one, but I asked ChatGPT using this prompt “produce a checklist for testing a ticketing system that has both email and web interfaces” and it produced something that looks like a good starting point. I’m fairly sure it would need tailoring for your use case.
Then I tried “produce a checklist for testing Request Tracker, a ticketing system that has both email and web interfaces” and, wow, it knows about how RT works. The difference between correspondence and comments, the format for RT tags on subject lines, etc and it uses the correct language.

Nice move! I tried it and also included the required RT version number and it worked for me too. Then ran it through https://www.perplexity.ai and the results were also impressive.
