Rt backups

Hello,

was browsing the docs for backups and found that the rt2 script (sample)
is pending. Curious what sort of viewpoints/tips you folks have on this
subject?

No different than any other database. For MySQL, take a mysqldump and
make sure it gets caught by your usual backup regime. (Keep in mind
that MySQL doesn’t guarantee ACID, so you may be left with referential
integrity problems after a restore. They’re usually pretty simple to
straighten out in RT, but if you can afford it, you might want to stop
MySQL, back up the databases themselves, and restart.)
