Hi,
I have a problem with RT after successfully upgrading from RT 4.4.4 to RT 5.0.7.
The problem occurs when changing the owner of a ticket and adding a reply to it at the same time.
In RT 4.4.4, when a new ticket appeared, it was opened in example by me and using the “reply” button in the first comment in the “ticket history section” - by “first comment” I mean the content of the email that caused the ticket to be created - and I typed my reply while setting the owner of the ticket.
The effect was that the ticket had the “owner” set, the “requestor” received their reply and the attachment - if it was present in the reply.
In the submission history, these 3 transactions were in the following order:
- submission created
- correspondence added
- change of owner
- outgoing email registered
Now, in RT 5.0.7, the transaction order in the submission history is as follows:
- submission created
- change of owner
- add of correspondence
- outgoing email registered
and the applicant receives an email with the content: “This transaction appears to have no content”, without any attachments etc.
It seems that now RT is looking for the email content in the wrong transaction - in “change of owner” instead of “add of correspondence”.
Is it possible that this has something to do with the transaction order? which seems to be different from the old RT?
Is there any chance to force the script to look for the response content in a specific transaction type? in this case, in the response transaction?
