RT 3.8.8 RC3 availabled for testing

Hello,

Third release candidate for RT 3.8.8 is now available. You can
download it from:

Changes since RC2:

  • DBD::Oracle 1.22 is marked as bad and make testdeps should fail,
    as well as make install
  • ./configure script was not allowing --with-web-handler=mod_perl1 or mod_perl2
  • new links in charts’ tables was incorrect in localized UI
  • dropped a debug statement that was comitted by accident

Did you test this Ruslan or did you copy what I wrote since I did not
say that 1.22 is bad. 1.23 is bad and 1.24 is good. Just to make sure I
have run a complete cycle of ticket creation and replying to it to see
if anything is weird. Also created a user and no problems sofar.

Heh, Joop, I made a mistake. Sure I wanted to block the right version,
but was more concentrated on code to implement “avoid these versions”

I noticed that the ‘POT-Creation-Date’ for all the translations files is
2009-05-07. Have there really been no new or changed strings for almost
a year?

The same is also true for the actual translations. The most recent .po file
(in RC3, but also in the latest git update) is from 2009-10-06, but there
have been many translation updates on Launchpad since then.

Karl, I’ve merged translations both ways: from launchpad into RT and
