This is primarily a bug fix release of RT. We fixed a number of
regressions introduced in 3.8.6. If you’ve encountered problems
installing 3.8.6 or applied a patch from the mailing lists to fix an
issue, we’d appreciate feedback on this release candidate.
Included in this release are the following important regression fixes:
Endlessly regenerating sessions under WebExternalAuth
characterized by lost attachments during ticket creation
Error using WebExternalAuth and user info canonicalization
Skipping old DateTime and DateTime::Locales
You can get a complete list of commits with the command
git log rt-3.8.6…rt-3.8.7rc1
from a git clone of our github repository
A complete changelog will accompany the final release
