RT 1.3.83: problem with rt-mailgate

Hello !

After installing RT 1.3.83 I have some problems with the email-interface
!

Everything is looking fine, but I am not able to send emails to RT.

I managed it with rt1.0.7 :), but with rt1.3.83 I get the following
error…

----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
|“/usr/local/httpd/cgi-bin/rt2/bin/rt-mailgate --queue general --action
correspond”
(reason: 255)
(expanded from: rt@peacock.hb.orthogon.de)

----- Transcript of session follows -----
Can’t do setuid
554 5.3.0 |“/usr/local/httpd/cgi-bin/rt2/bin/rt-mailgate --queue general
–action correspond”… unknown mailer error 255

Any quick idea which may help ???

Thanks for your help and regards from Germany and…

Gerd.

For RT2. you need to install setuid-perl. The method for installing
setuid-perl is vendor specific.
