Requestors login

Am I missing something, or do I have to create accounts for each requestor
that wants to check on their own tickets?

If this is documented somewhere, please point it out, as I haven’t been
able to find it. I’ve looked all over the RT site and the Docs site.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

Accounts are required. From what I understand, standard RT does not let
you do this - but if you use the enhanced mailgate (available at RT),
accounts can be automatically created etc.

The enhanced mailgate has nothing to do with this. RT’s mail gateway creates
users on ticket submission but does not automatically set passwords for them.On Fri, Sep 07, 2001 at 01:22:54PM +1000, Andrew Yager wrote:

Hi,

… users can’t login to check their tickets without passwords… so…

Do I have to set them, or is there another way?

Thanks for the help Jesse and everyone.
