Do Postgres 17 works on Request Tracker 4.4.4? Is there a huge change from Postgres 15 to 17??
i’m not a postgres guy, but shortly checked the documentation (we also still have RT 4.4.4)…
RT 4.4.4 is not officially supported with PostgreSQL 17.
RT 4.4 is end‑of‑life, and PostgreSQL 17 was released many years later, so there is no vendor testing or guarantee of compatibility. It might work in some cases, but it is unsupported and risky for production.
