In the case of tickets created via email, you could pre-process the
email message before handing it to RT, using something like procmail
and/or a custom script. If the specific word is found in the subject or
content, you could simply skip (or archive) the email without involving
RT at all.

Be aware that robust parsing of email messages is not trivial, so
depending on your use case, this may not be feasible.
