Question on mysql-version

hi
I recently read on the wiki that MySQL in V4.1.x is not suggested as there might
be bugs… actually we’re running RT 3.09 with V4.1.7 mysql quite happily (about
50.000 tickets and counting) without any problems - could someone indicate
whether this warning in the wiki-doc is valid or not?

also I wonder (though since performance-tuning we’re happy for now) if RT’s
speed could be improved by using v4.1.7 features like subselects and stuff.

thx for feedback,
hk

I’m also interested in this. The Wiki states that version 4.1x is known
not to work with the current version of RT (3.2.2). Are you using
another version of RT?

He is running 3.0.9.

I don’t know where this note is placed on wiki, but that’s a bullshit.
Topic was discussed here few days ago and resolution is such: you MUST
upgrade client libraries if you upgrade your server from 3.x or 4.0.x.
Please update wiki.
