Priority + rt-mailgate

I was just wondering if the rt-mailgate had the inherent ability to
process priority.

Ideally I would like the users to select the priority on a webform which
emails the mailgate, creating a ticket with matching priority to their
selection.

So does anyone know if the mailgate can process priority as it stands or
has someone done this before (save me re-inventing the wheel once more)
