Are there any remaining performance issues with postgresql for RT3? Now
that Fedora core3 is shipping 7.4.x I’m considering switching to it to
have something that will be maintained automatically as part of the
distribution updates.

have something that will be maintained automatically as part of the
distribution updates.
If you find some issues with speed and a large ticket database, perhaps
trying my optimized indexes posted here a few months back will help. I
find it quite reasonably fast and I have several tens of thousands of
tickets.
