Possible Bug in RT (3.4.2 anyway - maybe higher versions?) need someone to verify

I had reported to me the following and verified to be true (on our
system – RT v3.4.2)

Make RT not lose time worked on tickets when the are merged. Everytime
when 2 tickets are merged the time spent gets set to 0

Ticket 50487: TimeWorked changed from ‘60’ to ‘0’ in “The Basics”
section.
