New RT install, cant login

Hello,

I have installed RT 3.5.6. The install went as smooth as expected.
Everything is working as best as I can tell. I’m not able to login
with the default root pass of password.

I did the password recovery found at
http://lists.bestpractical.com/pipermail/rt-users/2004-January/020370.html
but to no avail.

Whats strange is that I do not see anything in the apache logs no
syslog about errors.

I’m running Apache 1.3 Fast-CGI and
MySQL 4.1.12.

Heres all that I see from the apache error log
