Hi,
we are running a large and rather customized RT 3.2.2 on an Apache 1
and would like to upgrade to Apache 2 (sysadmins demand RPM
maintainability of the system).
Are there still problems with Apache2/mod_perl2 or will RT run as
stable an smoothly as with Apache1?
For the migration, can I just set up the Apache2 config file and then
switch servers or do I need to re-install rt with the proper options?
Any nasty obstacles to expect?
Thanks in advance for any help.

I have tried yesterday a test 3.4.2 to 3.5.2. It didn’t work since I
was using mod_perl 1.99, so I moved to FastCGI. It required 5 minutes,
and worked nicely.
So move to FastCGI, it will work faster, and you won’t have to wait
for mod_perl 2 to stabilize and for RT to completely support it.

J.
