Mailing from RT-2

I’m new to RT, so bear with me.

Is there anyting special I ave to do to enable RT to send mails?
No matter what I do (reply to a message, send a comment, etc), no mails
are sent out.

Thanks in advance,

-dw

Also, in the config.pm, how should the following variables be set:

$MailAlias=“tickets”;
$CorrespondAddress=“tickets”;
$CommentAddress=“tickets”;

As my previous email states, regardless of what I do in the ticketing system,
the system does not generate mails.

I have $MailCommand = ‘sendmail’ and $SendmailPath = ‘/usr/sbin’.

No mails are sent out from the system. Nothing is noted in the mail logs, nor is
anything being outputted to RT’s logs.

Thanks.

What MTA are you using?
I’d recommend trying sendmailpipe, rather than sendmail.
You almost definitely want those “tickets” to be
"tickets@nicx.net"On Mon, Jul 16, 2001 at 03:43:56PM +0000, Darrin Walton wrote:
