Local RT modifications at the University of Oslo

I’m not sure if it is useful for you all, but would like to announce
the page documenting the changes done to RT here at the University of

This is our current list of modifications,

  • LDAP-synchronizing and authentication
  • Email-administration of RT tickets
  • Automatic password generation for new external users
  • Spam-handling
  • Automatic ticket priority escalation
  • Automatic reminders to ticket owners
  • Use References and In-Reply-to of incoming emails to find ticket ID

Most of the patches are already sent to this list, but some of them
need more cleanup.
