Is anyone using RT in a load-balanced/HA environment? By that I mean
with more than one server running the application itself for failover
purposes.

We are using RT with HA but not with load balancing.
We have achieved HA setup with two RT servers installed over two separate
Linux machines and Linux Heartbeat for resource handling purposes.
