Linking an Asset to an Incident Report, Investigation, or Countermeasure

Hello,
We are in the process of setting up RTIR and would like to be able to link assets to items in the incident report, investigation and countermeasure queues. I added those queues to the AssetQueues in the system configure but it hasn’t worked. We are guessing it is because the IR extension seems to have it’s own directory structure.

Does anyone know if there is another config file we need to edit to get the asset box to show for those queues?

The asset box only shows once there is an asset linked. You can link to assets in any link box by using “asset:X asset:Y …”, where X and Y are the asset IDs.

Is there away to make a “linked” custom field? I looked and it didn’t jump out at me.

Unfortunately it looks like you can’t.
