Is there a way to auto-save the contents of an unsubmitted comment/reply?

I’ve “noticed” (aka, experienced first-hand) that if the web browser crashes while someone is composing a reply/comment in RT, that reply/comment is lost. :frowning:

Is there a way to turn on some sort of auto-save feature in RT so that those as-yet unsubmitted reply/comments in the composition box are not lost?

You might want to look at RT::Extension::Drafts.

I think that I tried it on our test site and didn’t have time to fully configure it, so I can’t tell you how well it works. My recollection is that it requires an overlay, so it may be somewhat version dependent.
