Is it possible to change requestor?

I was setting up an initial database. I entered a ticket, and the
requestor was listed as me (gknauth).

But really, I got the request from someone else (say, John Smith). I
would like to change the Requestor of the ticket to jsmith, but I can’t
find a way to do it. I can only find a way to delete the requestor
gknauth.

For now, I’m running RT on my own, to keep track of my own queue of
tasks. I’d still like to keep track of who the requestor of a ticket
really is.

Click on the ticket -> On the left side choose “people”. Check the check
box to delete the requester just below that where it says “Add new
watchers:”

choose requester from the type list box and put in the email address of
the requester.

FWIW, I ended up just putting in bogus email addresses – non-existent
users with no domain, so at some point I may get local errors from my
Mac’s sendmail, or maybe not if RT’s not even trying to send email.
That at least lets me categorize the tickets by requestor.
