Interface Customizations

Hi all,

I am looking to take some fundamental elements, such as configuation,
preferences etc… from the general web interface of RT, in essence
creating a type of user view.

Has anybody done this before?
I’ve read the wiki about this and there is little on the subject -
only an example to how to remove the configuration link from normal
users.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Later,
Jay

I’m in the middle of a bunch of WebUI work that includes the
Elements/Tabs, etc. Touching Elements/Tabs can be pretty tricky. You
might just want to modify the tabs via the Default Callback to
Elements/Tabs.

Check out RT 3.5.2 under the ‘development’ branch to see how a lot of
all this is now much more possible/already been done
