Install Issue - Ubuntu 22.04

Hello!

New user, just stumbled upon this solution and trying to test it out in house. I have checked a couple different guides to do the install and so far, fixdeps running it once pretty much gave me a solid pass for almost everything except for Date::Extract. Running multiple time doesn’t seam to resolve it, And based on the results, the scripts are pulling dates from like 2007 but pulling “got” the actual correct date that you would expect.

I verified the system date/time is correct and timezone is set correctly on the Ubuntu Install.,so I assume if it would read the proper time, those scripts would pass and I could continue the install.

Any suggestions?

Hey Greeting,
To troubleshoot installation issues on Ubuntu 22.04, you may find it helpful to check the following:

  1. Make sure you have a stable internet connection and that you are using the correct installation media (e.g. a bootable USB drive or DVD).
  2. Check the system requirements for the software you are trying to install and make sure your system meets them.
  3. Check for any error messages or other clues that may indicate what is causing the issue.
  4. Try performing a clean install by formatting the target drive and starting the installation process from scratch.
  5. If you are unable to resolve the issue on your own, you may want to seek help from online resources such as forums or support centers. It can also be helpful to provide as much detail as possible about the issue you are experiencing when seeking help.
    Note: I hope your problem will fixed out once you follow these necessary point, If not then you can take help from this.

You could manually install that package using cpan and then pass a force or no test flag and move in with the RT install

Perfect - Ran
cpan
force install Date::Extract
OK

Continued on thru the installation guide and its now at least operational.
