How to assign the owner automatically?

Hi,

this question has already been posted at least twice, but nobody
answered it. Is it really nor resolvable?

The problem is how to to automatically assign a request as it comes in
to a specific owner. There is no such an option in a queue setup. When
the request comes in, it is assigned to nobody and m,ust be re-assigned
manually.

Please, help, this feture is quite important for us.

Have a look at the AutAssign scrip at:

http://www.fsck.com/pub/rt/contrib/2.0/

This will randomly assign a ticket to one of the watchers of the queue.

Is suspect it could be extended to do what you need.
