How to apply one customer field to Users and Tickets

Hi, I am very new to RT and I’m wanting to apply the same custom field to both users and tickets. I haven’t found anything in the documentation, and not sure if RT even has the capability.

I don’t think you can have a single custom field that is applied to two different object types at the same time (so users and tickets in your case). You might be able to have two different CFs, one for each object type, and then try to keep them in sync (depending on what sort of CFs you choose obviously - it’ll be easier to sync CFs with constrained lists of possible values).
