History for changes of a ticket

Hi
can someone help me to find a way to get a structured list of changes of a tickets.
Background: my goal is to track retrospectively all changes of a ticket. Let’s say there’s a responsible for a ticket but it may change under some circumstances. Therefore i need to all responsible of the ticket put in a sequence.
If i see it in the ticket it means it is somewhere in the database. Right?

I would guess looking at the Transactions table in the DB, would be a good start
