Generating Reports for tickets

Hello All,

I noticed that some of the users on this list have been using RT for a
long time, and I’m assuming that they do generate reports for their
bosses. Can someone tell me how they generate reports for tickets and
exports them to a spreadsheet (excel or OOo?). Since we implemented RT,
I need to be able to generate reports of tickets open/closed, per
days/weeks, per Queue and so on and also have some type of graph. I
looked at Statistics, but that does not seem to work well. The report is
just on the screen and does not offer an option to print a report or
export it to a spreadsheet. I hope someone will provide me with
something other than Statistics or if that’s the only thing available, I
need to know if they are able to export them since I have not seen any
feature that does just that.

RT 3.2 has spread sheet export built in. You can save the result of any
search as a spread sheet. There are other reporting tools out there.
