We have an old RT instance that has been upgraded over the years to 5.0.5. I just created a fresh 5.0.5 instance, and am comparing all the scrips, actions, conditions, templates, and so on to see what we’ve changed over the years.
The older 5.0.5 instance has a system scrip named “On transaction and SetStarted Open Ticket”, with a corresponding system action named “On SetStarted Open Ticket”. They were apparently added by the file “etc/upgrade/4.1.18/content” during an upgrade (this system dates back to the 3.x days and has had a lot of upgrades).
The new 5.0.5 system does not have these items. I see that there is an installed file named “lib/RT/Action/OpenOnStarted.pm”, but it does not seem enable the scrip or the action.
Should this scrip and this action be present in a fresh 5.0.5 installation? Or are they no no longer necessary and applied to older versions just to address legacy functionality?
