Fetchmail Okta O365

Hi, we just turned on Okta integration with O365 and fetchmail to RT broke. “The attempt to get authorization failed.” Our Okta person said it is because the mailbox is now a federated mailbox and the password isn’t synced so RT can’t authenticate. Proposed solution is to create a new “shared” mailbox in O365 that isn’t in our AD and auto-forward messages from the original mailbox to the new mailbox and have RT fetch from there.

Anyone have a suggestion on what to try? Thanks. -SC
