External auth'd unprivileged user does not show in user listing

Hello everyone, I’m running RT 4.4.2 with ExternalAuth configured and working for LDAP. I am not setting “mark all external auth’d new users as privileged”.

  1. Login as jblaine 1st time fine with LDAP password
  2. In a totally separate browser, I login as the root account and, under “Admin -> Users” I cannot see user jblaine unless I explicitly search for jblaine
  3. When I do that explicit search for jblaine, I see all of the proper info that was pulled from LDAP

Why doesn’t this user show up in the default user selection listing?

Why doesn’t this user show up in the default user selection listing even with [x] show disabled users checked?

I’m pretty sure that users page only shows privileged users in its display OOTB.

I think if you stick a % in the search box, it shows unprivileged users as well. As mentioned its just built to show only privileged users by default.
