Email was working - now sits in mail queue!

Hi

My RT was working so very nicely for a few days. Just yesterday I upgraded
ot RT3.0.6 (from 3.0.4) in order to use RTFM2.01. I’m pretty sure that just
after that the mail was still working fine, but has since stopped working.

The mail sits in the mail queue saying
Deferred: prog mailer (/usr/sbin/smrsh) exited with EX_TEMPFAIL

Apache log tells me nothing. The maillog says

My system is now in production and people cannot send mails! Help!

Apache/1.3.28 (Unix) mod_perl/1.28 mod_ssl/2.8.15 OpenSSL/0.9.7a
Perl 5.8.0

What happens if you try to run that mailgate commandline from the shell?

Never mind - I got this sorted by doing a clean install (just keeping the
database) of RT3.0.6.
