Email attachments and Customer demographics

Hello,
I’ve heard rumors of email attachments support, but I couldn’t find any
references (probably just overlooked something).

How/where can I look for information implementing this?

Also, Customer’s demographic information - address, phone number, etc. Any
add-ons that provide this? Or, do I need to “roll my own”.
