Disable Queue Template

Does anyone know of a way to disable a queue template without deleting it? I have a couple of queues that I create templates for that I wanted to the wording to be slightly different then the global template. But now we need them to just use the global template wording but I really hate to just delete the queues template in case we need it again.

Anybody have any thought on how to do this? Or do I just have to give in and delete them?

Could you just rename them so that they don’t match the global template name? We have several versions of templates for some of our queues for different wording for Christmas/Easter/Bank holidays for example, and just rename them when we want them to take over.
