Default correspondence template

I tried to edit this template to say the following:

Here is what the template looks like now:

For some reason it is not sending an email back to the user when they
add comments via email. It was before I made the change. I tried to
change it back and it still doesn’t work. Any ideas? By the way I’ve
learned my lesson and will create new templates instead of editing the
default templates.
